Fun, fitness and food

Ce matin, les classes de CE1, CE2 et CM1 ont assisté à une intervention Fun, Fitness and Food.
En anglais, il s'agissait de leur présenter des grands principes en nutrition, telle l'importance du petit déjeuner ou d'avoir des repas équilibrés par exemple. Une démonstration de cuisine a mis en application ces recommandations, le résultat ayant ravi les palais des élèves.


 
           
 
           
 
 
          
 
 

NODDLES - RECIPE FOR 4


Ingredients
•Quorn Pieces cooked  150g
•Noodles cooked and refreshed  150g
•Red Pepper   1 each
•Yellow Pepper   1 each
•Fresh Ginger   1 piece
•Fresh Garlic   2 cloves
•Savoy Cabbage   75g
•Cracked Black Pepper  Pinch
•Chinese Five Spice   2 tspn
•Orange Juice   20ml
•Soy Sauce    10ml
•Sweet Chilli Sauce   10ml
Method
•Cook the noodles in boiling water for 1 minute then rinse in cold water to stop cooking any further
•In the pan stir-fry the Quorn with the Chinese 5 spice
•Slice the peppers and cabbage then add to the Quorn
•Chop the garlic and ginger and add to the pan
•Add the noodles
•Finally mix the soy, orange juice and sweet chilli sauce and pour over the noodles
